Special focus on Preventive Medicine, Primary Care (Family Medicine)
I believe strong primary care is central to my patients’ wellness. I enjoy taking care of patients regardless of their age, either as an individual or a family member; with a variety of medical needs and personalized goals. As a former Orthopedic RN and a current Instructor at OHSU School of Nursing; I see myself as an educator at heart. I am passionate about using education as a tool to help patients take ownership of their health and wellness. Additionally, I appreciate the opportunity as a primary care provider to develop long-term relationships with patients in order to better address their individual circumstances and heath care needs. I look forward to truly getting to know each patient so that I may care for them collaboratively, within the context of their family, community, and culture.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have traveled to or lived in Europe and North America and value the chance to understand family life in other cultures.
